Telefónica started an Innovation project to build a Central Office rearchitected as Data Center based in CORD architecture, but selecting our own SW components. We have been building the HW infrastructure in a real Central Office in Madrid based in OCP, including an OLT for FTTH access, and we have prototyped several use cases both for Residential and Enterprise customers doing in-house development but also integrating 3rd party services virtualized in our infrastructure. We will share our experience and the lessons learned during this 9 months and will present our plans for next steps to take this initiative forward.
