Margaret is currently a Huawei VP of Open Ecosystem in the US focused on the realization of open source. She has helped shape the SDN/NFV industry by being a founding member of the ETSI ISG NFV and Linux Foundation OPNFV including being president of OPNFV, ONF ONOS Alternate Board member, and member of ODL user group. She has been active in the data plane acceleration space - DPDK, ODP and FD.IO. Her previous experience includes 35+ years working for a Tier 1 US Carrier leading teams focused on concept through delivery of network products, data services (e.g. FR, ATM, IP, Ethernet, and Optical) as well as helping shape the SDN/NFV/ECOMP strategy and realization. She has also been on the board of directors of MEF.
Margaret has given many keynote talks – Light Reading, Layer 123, ONS as well as many technical talks at Openstack, FDIO, ONS, ODL and many analyst interviews.
