Vikram Dham is a polyglot software engineer who currently works as a Sr Software Architect at Futurewei. In his current role he architects and builds microservices based full stack applications to tackle challenges of cloud and edge computing. Prior to Futurewei, he was Principal Software Engineer at Dell Research where his work focussed on building software for NFV & IoT realtime analytics using Kafka & Spark Before Dell Research, he held the CTO role for Kamboi Technologies LLC, where he led development of software for SD-WAN. In the past he was the Principal Software Engineer/Engineer Manager at Slingbox where he architected & built the distributed software for peer to peer connectivity of endpoints for video streaming and an elastic distributed asynchronous reliable message delivery bus. An alumni of Virginia Tech, Vikram holds several patents in networking and has worked on research projects with companies like ECI Telecom, Nextone, Raytheon and Avaya Research Labs.
